Kestrel 4500 Overview Introduced in 2007,
the Kestrel 4500 offers wind direction along with wind
speed, using its built in digital compass.
The Kestrel 4500 also calculates crosswind
and headwind or tailwind with reference to a user-set target
heading, and stores the information along with all the other
environmental readings in its 1400 data point memory.
The Kestrel 4500 is also available in the Night
Vision (NV) configuration for just a bit more.
