(The earliest version of the Eole measured wind speed only-this
replaces it, and adds features).
The large rotating cups will measure a breeze from under 1.0 mph to
the strongest winds. (available mid-2009). The unit
does NOT have to be held facing the wind to produce an
accurate reading.
The unit has an aluminum base with a thread allowing mounting on a tripod.
